TIME TO LEAVE TOWN...

How should I secure my home when I go on vacation?

• Do not leave keys outside your home

• Have newspaper, mail and other deliveries stopped

• Turn lights on and off with the use of a timer

• Do not leave messages on your door or phone that indicates your not home

• Keep the front part of the house well lit

• Trim your shrubs and bushes so burglars don’t have a place to hide

• Don’t forget to close and lock all doors and windows

• Lock and store all tools and yard equipment in the garage or shed

These tips should keep your house safe and secure while you’re out enjoying your dream vacation!
