TIPS FOR THE FIRST TIME CRUISERS
-
Consider starting with shorter trips, the Bahamas is a great
start, it is close and tourist friendly
-
Winter cruises fill quickly, be flexible in planning your trip
-
You
will spend little time in your room, cheaper may be better, but
rooms range from large with balconies to small without any
windows
-
Cruise companies offer combined sea/air packages
-
Food
is included in the cost of the trip
-
Not
included are alcoholic beverages, sodas, shore excursions,
tips to staff, ... Some cruise lines will add gratuities to
final bill
-
Ship
staffers who specialize in tours can arrange shore excursions
for a fee
By the
way, did you know that the cost for a cruise vacation is lower than
a land vacation?
The cost of food onboard, entertainment and nightly accommodations
are all included in your cruise fare!
